ARTEMIS is a documentary (68 mins) by Sektion Red which focuses on 9 current female MC’s in UK Hip Hop, exploring various perceptions as to why there are not more prominent female voices in the genre, both on stage and behind the scenes, with some ideas as to how to rectify this in the final chapters of the film. Directed by Oliver Whitehouse, produced by Laura Green and behind the scenes filmed by Fleur Wild. Following the release of the documentary we’re releasing an a cappella rap video with each of the 9 featured artists.

Produced by Mankub, with live DJ scratches from Audiosnax, ‘Won’t Change’ is an infectious and glorious rap opus, backed by a lush, soulful and sometimes off kilter backdrop.
The record also sees ThisisDA and Blu rapping on the same track for the first time to great effect, following earlier collaborative efforts between the two, with ThisisDA featuring on several Blu-produced tracks in the past year including ‘Do Rock Steady’ which was released by Blu in January.
UK born and Toronto based recording artist Dhamiri has been stirring up a buzz since releasing his debut project “Pay Up” this past February. Having caught the attention of both fans in his birth place of the UK and Toronto’s rapidly growing local scene, Dhamiri continues to release quality music and visuals.
The new video single officially premiered today and is directed by Kamil Boguski. The song was produced by ZAGOR and was filmed on location in Toronto. “With It” captures some great imagery of the city and breathes visual life into Dhamiri’s sound.
