The Dayton, OH natives have been in the hip hop realm for years and stay inspired by their undeniable passion for music. Their most recent single “BOSS’D UP” is an introduction as to how hard their pushing their craft. The theatrical beat and rapid piano instrumental are the signature sound that helps convey the message of “By any means necessary”, encouraging to not allowing anything or anyone to stop your grind.

“I gotta watch out for the snakes cause these niggas are fake… their disguises impeccable…” Deshone, T. (2021) “Boss’d Up” [ Recorded by performer T, Deshone].

Travis introduces fast-talking hustler Biggie Tiny with Expensive as constant repeat Tony 2Timez and King Jr. Rah as himself. This is the first video directed by Travis Deshone that highlights not just his lyrical skill, but his extraordinary ability to create a character. “Channeling my creativity is a process that begins the creative process, and the beat leads me to that place where I create great work”, Travis explains, “so it’s the same cycle, but when directing the video, I was able to dissect that creativity a little more and invite people further into who I am as an artist.”

Although the leader of his own tribe under his own record label Urban Class Entertainment, Travis wanted to explore the talent of other artists. Partnering with 1200 Block Cartel Entertainment introduced the opportunity to work with artists Expensive and King Jr. Rah.

The creative process for the trio moves them the same and the beat led them to the direction that created their vibe. “having a beat to vibe to and creative people around or even the beat alone will move me” says Expensive. “BOSS’D UP” is only just one of the singles that has been release from the U.C.E (Urban Class Entertainment) & 1200 B.C. Ent (1200 Block Cartel Entertainment) camp. The united independent labels are planning the release of their mixtape/ album “Reality Checks” set to release this coming summer. “BOSS’D UP” is the second single released from the mixtape/album, beginning with the first single release “OKAY DEN”, released on March 4th and hosted by Grammy Award-Winning Producer Zaytoven (@zaytovenbeatz), with currently over 1.4k views on YouTube.
