Dat Boi Skeet is an emerging artist from Buffalo, NY that has been making a name for himself on the music scene. He released his most recent project, ‘Talk of the Town’ on Thanksgiving Day.

The 14-track project is predicted to be one Skeet’s best work. It includes gritty street bars, and an impressive list of top-tier features from some of the hottest in the game including Mozzy, Yella Beezy, and Trapboy Freddy. He also got DaBaby featured on the hit banger “93” – the animated visual for which premiered on Worldstar Hip Hop.

Talk of the Town’ takes a intense look into the life of Skeet. The ups and down he endured throughout his life was his main source of inspiration. He openly discussed the type of live he lived and the life he now chooses to live. This project is a mix and trap beats and gritty street talk – with tracks like “Gang Ties,” “485%” and “V-Live K.O.D.” – while also showcasing a softer side of Skeet on songs like “Men in Blacc” and “No More.” We also get to see a different side on the single “Lonely,” which touches on loss, death, and isolation – especially during the this time.

This project is the follow up to his 2018 project ‘Broke is the Root of All Evil,’ which received a lot of positive feedback, and had features from artist like Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, YFN Lucci, and Tee Grizzley.

This project openly displays how much a multi talented creative Skeet truly is. This body of work allows us to learn about him as an a artist.
