Brooklyn based hip-hop artist Tahj Ace has been honing his craft for years, spending his time as out in the arts and music scenes drawing from a rich variety of influences. His relentless curiosity for music has led him to experiment with trap, R&B, and hip hop in pursuit of self expression and a feel good sound to share with those around him.
Inspired to start creating music with a group of childhood friends one summer, initially his material was developed organically in his local neighborhood. As he polished his talent and branched out into the scene, he started hip hop group Eramatics, which he managed himself. Going solo with mixtape Cool High, he drew from classical jazz and trap in a smart and winning combination of flow and rhythm and included collaborations with artists Frank Stoney, SupremeJJay, Alfa Simmonds and Eramatics member Lexington. This saw great success with rave reviews from Music On the Dot and an in depth interview with Above Average Hip Hop.
Multitalented and entrepreneurial, Tahj Ace has also been an actor and model and set up Seven Ace Records. His successes have seen him play in Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Los Angeles and he has been covered internationally by publications such as Indie Pulse Magazine and Germany’s Supex, as well as performing at festival shows in Canada. Follow him on all social media and streaming platforms.

This most recent body of work simply shows how much a diverse creative he is. Ace uses his music as a outlet to express himself while using his records to bring people together. He enjoys making relatable music that any and everyone can enjoy.
