Get familiar with HG the Bronx-bred,New York-based artist releases new album, IN REAL LIFE, out now on all streaming platforms. He is a 29-year-old artist and producer/songwriter who mixes facets of trap rap, r&b, fly lyrics, and raw hip hop to create a sound that is wholly his own. Coupling his vocal tone and unique writing over hard trap production, H.G. makes songs that are both hard hitting and timeless without sounding dated. While it’s not difficult to label H.G’s music under one genre or scene, it is born out of production based on samples pulled from dope 2000’s records, OG’s CD collection, southern rap, and his upbringing in The Bronx.

HG’s pen is damn near perfect on this composition and he seems to know what the people want with tracks such as Setting The Tone, HTown, I.D.G.A.F. ,Rica Creepin, Flex’n, My Life, Pt. II and King of New York.

To coincide with the news, he shares the hard hitting lead single and visual “Setting The Tone”. The track is a straight banger! hybrid of trap and fly raps with a dose of New York street shit, while the accompanying lo-fi visual features a dope studio performance of H.G. spitting that fire!
