YBS Skola hops in his 50 Cent “21 Questions” sampling for the new song, “Communicating.” The follow up to ‘Truth,’ which hosted standouts “Trenches,” “Always Workin,” and “Frostbite”. On the latest, Skola finds him questioning an unnamed love interest loyalty while he deals with the day to day struggle of incarceration.
Born Dajuan Cannady, YBS Skola is a Baltimore with motivational bangers and is the son of prominent community leader Stokey Cannady. A prominent member of the Young Ballers Shining crew, founded by the late Lor Scoota, he grew up on the west side of the city in Edmondson Village and only pursued rap after encouragement by family and the YBS crew.
“Communicating” is a lead up to YBS Skola’s new project, Minor Setback dropping next month. The new song is available now via The Shinners Ent. Stream it now on Spotify.
