Newly-signed Motown artist Rich Homie Quan has been best known for putting out pretty solid hits. Especially in 2014 when he released a mixtape entitled Rich Gang featuring Cash Money CEO Birdman. As well as in 2015 when he dropped the track “Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh)”, a track that was blasting at almost every club and out every speaker most of summer 2016.
Though since then the Atlanta rapper has struggled to come out with continuous hit tracks, and his highly publicized beefed with artist Young Thug hasn’t made that any easier. With the media constantly pitting the two against each other Rich homie as struggled to really make his mark. However last night he decided to ignore those issues and drop the track “Replay”, In anticipation for his new album set to release this spring.
On the track he kind of puts his critics to rest rapping about how that “He’s still making money” and “Still living large despite what people say” saying quote “Everybody knows who the best rapper is.” Overall the track adopts a decent play on words using the “Replay” as a way to prove his capability as a wealthy and talented artist to do what he wants, how he wants, as many times as he wants to. This, of course, is clear message to his haters.
Look out for rapper Rich Homie Quan this year seeing as though he’s been hinting on Instagram over the last few months that big things are in store for him.
