“The People” is a song expressing how we as a people (all races, culture, etc.) should also look at ourselves and what we do that contributes to some of the issues we see going on in society instead of solely blaming politicians, police, or others for everything.
It addresses a variety of things such as choosing opinion over truth, the way we interact with each other through social media and calls for us to check ourselves and how our actions may help play into the different issues we see occurring. It’s a message in love for the people, about us as a people, and to the people.
