We all waited for what felt like an eternity for King James’ newest model—and it was well worth it. The 11’s made a huge splash this year and with them being released so late in the year, we can expect a whole lot of new styles. Keep up with the Lebron 11 section at Sneaker News to stay up on the latest colorways and editions. If you’re the type of person to make their own lane and don’t feel like waiting for the right sneaker for you, create your own Lebron 11 on Nike iD!

If you needed anymore reassurance that 90’s style is on the comeback, these were it. The Fresh Prince inspired Jordans were released late this year to herds of lined up Carltons. The throwback colors pay homage to the popular styles of the 90’s. Putting this colorway on the Jordan 5’s was an obvious choice; the Prince himself sported the shoes throughout the series.

Every sneakerhead holds their breath when news slips out about the yearly Doernbecher releases. Not only are all the proceeds given to a good cause, but the patient-designed sneakers have proven to be one of the hottest collections every year. This year’s Jordan 5 “Isaac” blew away any preconceived notions anyone had. The intricate design glows in the dark and has a few details that come alive under black lights. Like a lot of hot limited releases, these aren’t going cheap. Some pairs have been sold on eBay for over $1,000.

Shaq Attaq & Shaqnosis

It’s been over 20 years since Shaquille O’neal was taken number one in the NBA draft. Through all of the cringe worthy movies, questionable raps, and one hell of a career, he only got two pro model shoes. Thankfully, the good folks at Reebok thought Shaq Diesel’s line needed a revival. While the black/white variations of the Shaqnosis seem to be most popular, we’ve already seen the Shaq Attaq in some hot colorways so far. These shoes are pretty easy to get a hold of—check out the re-launched lines at Foot Locker.

With a sneaker year this good, we can only hope that 2014 produces at least half the heat 2013 has.
