The Young Money vs. G.O.O.D. Music beef heats up as CyHi The Prynce takes at Young Money through his Twitter account earlier today.
Of course Rocafella and G.O.O.D. Music are different entities, but as far as fans are concerned Jay-Z and Kanye West’s relationship makes them one in the same. All of us remember when Jay-Z took shots at the Cash Money CEO Baby ‘Birdman’ Williams on ‘H.A.M.’ with the lines, “I’m like really half a billi n*gga, really you got baby money/Keep it real with n*ggas, n*ggas ain’t got my lady money.”
Of course Lil Wayne ended up responded on the track ‘It’s Good’ with the lines ” Talkin ’bout baby money? I got your baby money/Kidnap your b*tch, get that ‘how much you love your lady’ money.”
This beef quickly cooled down but soon after Common and Drake went to war ensuring that the Young Money vs. G.O.O.D. Music beef lived on. As Common just announced that Drake and him officially squashed the beef, G.O.O.D. Music affiliate CyHi The Prynce is now taking shots at Young Money on his Twitter account.
The Atlanta, Georgia emcee tweeted, ” To me YMCMB is mid and Rocafella/GoodMusic is kush you sell more pounds of mid but which one would you rather smoke.”
It will be interesting to see if there are any shots taken on the highly anticipated G.O.O.D. Music compilation album set to release later this spring.
