T.I. Says He Recorded Verses For Ke$ha, Meek Mill & The Throne

0

Now that he’s free from behind bars, T.I. is on a mission to takeover the radio by jumping on anyone and everyone’s hit song. XXLMag.com just got off the phone with the King of the South who revealed some of the all-star collabos he has in the works.

First up is the remix to pop singer Ke$ha’s Benny Blanco-produced club banger, “Sleazy.” Tip tells XXL that he’s not the only rapper on the song. The track will also feature fellow rap superstars Andre 3000, Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa.

When asked who has the best verse, the ATLien confidently replied, “I haven’t heard anybody but mine [but] I’m gonna put my money on mine.”

Also on deck is the remix to Meek Mill and Rick Ross’s summer smash, “I’ma Boss.” T.I.P. already recorded his verse. He says Weezy may also be on the song as well.

A while back the Grand Hustle general mentioned that he might be on Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Niggas in Paris (Remix).” When asked about the status of that record, T.I. said, “Well, I officially have recorded my verse. And I haven’t spoken to ‘Ye. I let ‘Ye hear it . I think ‘Ye let Jay hear it as well. I don’t think a determination has been made on whether or not it is going to be official. But if it’s not official, it will be unofficial. It will be heard one way or another. I will assure you that.”

But that’s not all. T.I. wants to add his vocals to more songs.

“I’m looking for some more records to jump on,” he said. “That’s what I’m doin’ right now. I’m commandeering hit records right now. I’m hijacking hit records. If you got a hit I’m on it.”

As of press time it is uncertain when the Ke$ha or Meek Mill remixes will be released

Drake Talks Marrying Nicki Minaj, Being Hurt by Rihanna & Never Having a Threesome

0

In the latest issue of Elle, Drake speaks on everything except music and his upcoming Take Care album. That means lots of chatter about love, sex, and relationships, which gives some context to the emotional banter found in his records. Drizzy talks about his relationships with Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, the type of woman his mother wants him to marry, never having more than one girl in bed at a time, and more. Read the excerpts below.

On loneliness:

“When you’re on the road and moving city to city, when someone isn’t there at the end of the night, you feel empty. The 15 or 20 seconds after a man reaches his climax is the realest moment he’ll ever have in his life. And if you happen to be with somebody that isn’t someone you want to converse with, you start feeling like, I wish I was just here watching True Blood by myself.”

On his fake Twitter marriage to Nicki Minaj:

“I don’t know if we were really pretending. I’d marry Nicki. I think Nicki would be one of the only people that would understand me at the end of all of this and be able to love me.”

On bringing girls home to mom:

The most intense thing I’ve ever done was bring a girl to Passover dinner. [My mom] just wants me to be happy, but I’m sure she’d love it if I married a Jewish girl.”

On receiving naked pictures:

If you send them without me asking, it’s like, You’ve done this before. But I’m away a lot. If there’s a woman I’m into, I might want to get a picture from her to handle business myself, as opposed to doing something I might regret.”

On threesomes:

“I’ve never had one. I swear. I’m a one-woman kind of guy.”

On being hurt by Rihanna:

“At the time it hurt, but she didn’t mean to. I’ll never put that on her. I was hurt because I slowly started to realize what it was. I guess I thought it was more. That was the first girl with any fame that paid me any mind. You spend days reading about this person in magazines. All of a sudden you have this number-one song and you’re at some birthday party and there she is. And you’re just some naive kid from Toronto staying in some shitty-ass hotel who got invited to this party on a whim. That’s just how it happened.”
