Grammy Award winners Kanye West and Jay Z, now known as the group ‘The Throne,’ have just announced plans for a twenty-plus city tour this fall. Confirmed early Monday, the “Watch The Throne” tour follows the release of their aptly titled album ‘Watch The Throne’ featuring the single “Otis”.
Slated to kick off September 22 in Detroit, the ‘Watch The Throne’ tour will make stops in Toronto, Los Angeles, Boston, Baltimore and Chicago, with the latter hosting the tour two nights (October 6 & 7). Additional dates are to be announced, adding to the current total of twenty-four.
Beginning Thursday, July 28th, fans that visit livenation.com/watchthethrone, will have access to presale tickets, which includes a digital copy of the album. Citi® card members will have access to presale tickets beginning Friday, July 29th at10AM local time through Citi’s Private Pass® Program. Tickets will be made available to the public, in general, August 8, for the once-in-a-lifetime pairing of two of music’s greatest performers on one stage, with the Watch The Throne Tour (powered by VoyR) at Ticketmaster and LiveNation.com. All fans who purchase their tickets online will receive a digital copy of the album.
